December 8, 2005 - Dr. Paul Harrington, Executive Director of the Center for Labor Market Studies at Northeastern University believes that immigrants play an important role in the economy. Major cities across the US that have traditionally lost population are experiencing resurgence due to the influx of new immigrants. This increase translates to a greater economic base for businesses, jobs and services.
