The Welcoming Center is a 501(c)3 organization, and is registered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Charitable Organizations.
We are able to provide services to immigrants through the generous financial support of foundations, corporations, the City of Philadelphia, the State of Pennsylvania, and individuals. View Our Funders page.
As you may know, government funding is uncertain, even in the best of times, and the competition for corporate and foundation grants is extremely rigorous. We cannot rely on these sources alone. Please consider supporting the Welcoming Center through one of the following ways:

We accept most major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover) through our Paypal account.

Volunteering
The Welcoming Center would not be able to effectively follow our mission without the help of dedicated volunteers. Our volunteers typically:
- Work between four and twenty hours a week
- Perform a variety of tasks including answering the phone, entering data, completing various clerical tasks, and helping at events
- Have experience with issues related to immigrants and immigration
If you would like to volunteer your time to our organization, please contact Isabelle Rambo at (215) 557-2845. When you contact us, be prepared to answer questions such as “What specifically do you want from the experience?” and “What skills can you bring?”
