Description: There is a wealth of data about immigration and diverse populations, but how can you access it?


This hands-on workshop will give you practice using web-based tools from the US Census Bureau and Dept. of Homeland Security to answer questions such as:

 

  • What countries today’s immigrants come from
  • What languages they speak
  • Whether they have become naturalized as US citizens or are eligible to do so
